TIMES AND SEASONS

A velada was held at St. Paul university last weekend it was about how seasons change every

month and what is being celebrated every month. The velada was a musical show where the performer

get to sing and dance.

February, Valentine's Day is a day dedicated exclusively to the lovers - not that other days are anything less? It just so happens to be that Valentine's Day is a day that is a little extra-special than other days in the calendar. This is mostly because of the heart touching story of St. Valentine that Valentine's Day owes its existence to.

March, where the graduation always happen. A graduation ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that "individuality" is the key to success.

April, where the Summer heat can be really felt.
the warmest of the four temperate seasons, between spring and autumn. At the summer solstice, the days are longest and the nights are shortest, with day-length decreasing as the season progresses after the solstice.

May for me would be the most colorful of all because it is the month where flowers get to bloom so nicely. Then the children would offer it to Mary as a sign of respect and gratitude.

June, is the month where most couples would like to be wed. One of the first to influence a young girl is choosing the month and day of her wedding. June has always been the most popular month, for it is named after Juno, Roman goddess of marriage. She would bring prosperity and happiness to all who wed in her month. Practicality played a part in this logic also. If married in June, the bride was likely to birth her first child in Spring, allowing her enough time to recover before the fall harvest.
November, Halloween is usually celebrated amongst family, friends and, sometimes, co-workers. However, some areas hold large community events. Parties and other events may be planned on October 31 or in the weekends before and after this date. Adults may celebrate by watching horror films, holding costume parties or creating haunted houses or graveyards.

December, an annual commemoration of the birthofJesus Christ and a widely observed holiday, celebrated generally on December 25by millions of people around the world. A feast central to the Christian liturgical year, it closes the Advent season and initiates the twelve days of Christmastide, which ends after the twelfth night. Christmas is a civil holiday in many of the world's nations,[10
